The R22, R25, R28, R32, R38, T38, T45, and T51 are internationally recognized codes for a range
of threaded drill rods, categorized primarily into two families: the R-series (generally for top-hammer
drilling) and the T-series (often for down-the-hole (DTH) and other drilling methods). These codes
specify the thread type and dimensions, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance between
the rod, drill bit, and drilling equipment.

Furthermore, since this is a speed rod design it will produce straighter holes and at least 10% higher penetration rate in good
rock conditions compared to rod and coupling sleeve combination system.
